Personal Notes: I found the bike, or should I say, the bike found me in 2005. As a former swimmer I bought a bike with the intention of competing in a triathlon. However, when I moved to Virginia, I learned on one of those infamous group rides it was possible to soley ride your bike and the rest was history! Now almost 4 years later I still can't get enough of the bike and racing is like icing on the cake! I consider myself extremely lucky to have an incredible boss and employer who encourage my extreme alternate career. I am also grateful to the many roles my husband / personal trainer / coach / training buddy and friend takes on, as well as his team for letting me train with them, for better or worse we at least have fun! I'm excited to "turn over a new leaf" (thanks to Plant Solutions) with Team Kenda and can't wait for the 2010 season to arrive and start racing my new teammates!
