Personal Notes:

I discovered my competitive side in 2000 when I entered my first mountain bike race and won my category. During that same year, I also participated in several running races and completed a 1.7 mile open water swim across Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. I was instantly drawn to the rush of adrenaline during competition and in the following years, I competed in numerous short and long course triathlons, running and adventure races as well as the occasional swim meet during the off season.

In the third year of my newfound obsession, my focus shifted entirely towards longer endurance type events and I successfully trained for and finished the 2003 Ironman Canada in Penticton, BC, and the New York City marathon.

Always on the lookout for new challenges, I finally came to road cycling in 2006. In 2009, I joined Team Kenda and I am looking forward to another successful season with a terrific group of riders and staff in 2010.
