Personal Notes:

I was riding my bike to work one morning and I passed a fellow commuter.  He was riding a hand cycle with a backpack strapped to the rear.  During the brief miles we rode together,  he shared his story of how he had lost his legs in a terrible car accident.  He went onto say that he he still had his arms and most of all, the desire to play the hand of cards he had been dealt. 

He then went on to say "lots of people have legs and don't even use them." 

I think of that quote many times.  Everyday on the bike is a good day.
