Report by Imelda March(Monday, December 3, 2007) Kristin Wentworth is no stranger to the state jersey ownership game. She won the WI State Cross Championships in 2006 and now in 2007. On both occasions, she finished second in the race to an out-of-state racer while claiming the gold medal for the state of Wisconsin.It is our hope that her overflowing drawer has room for one more jersey and she collects, yet another jersey for the series championship. Her weekly home turf cyclocross racing allowed her to earn series points toward the 2007 Wisconsin Cycling Association Cyclocross (WCA) series.Collecting her Gold medal on December 2, 2007 earned her the 2007 (WCA) champion’s jersey. She will receive her winnings at the banquet scheduled for January 2008.Photo & Results
